Kilner Muslin Square, 50cm

Hemmed edges mean zero fraying even after half a dozen washes, which I appreciate. It’s thick enough to strain yogurt without bits sneaking through, and the 50cm size covers a big bowl easily.

Finally, a muslin square that actually keeps fine bits out of my jelly instead of letting everything through. The hemmed edges haven’t frayed after three washes, and it’s the perfect size for draping over a big bowl. Straining soup through it is so much easier now.

Made yogurt cheese tonight and it drained beautifully, the 100% cotton let the whey pass through without any tearing. Went straight into the wash after and came out clean, edges still perfectly hemmed.
