Got the half-liter size for smaller batches of jam, and honestly the wide opening is the star. I can fit whole apricots in without slicing them, which saves me a good twenty minutes of prep every weekend. Lids sealed perfectly on the first try, no fuss at all.

The wider mouth makes filling with whole peaches and cucumbers so much less fiddly than my old narrow jars. I just finished a batch of pickled cauliflower and everything slid in perfectly without crushing the florets. Cleanup is a breeze too since I can get my hand all the way in to scrub the bottom
