The clip top is airtight enough that I stopped worrying about whether my jam batches would seal properly. Two litres is a generous size for storing pasta and lentils, and the glass is thick enough to feel solid on the shelf.

I've been making big batches of chutney and this square jar feels so much sturdier than my old round ones, and the clip top really locks in that airtight seal. The 2-litre size is perfect for a larger batch, and the glass is thick enough that I don't worry about it cracking in the cupboard.

The rubber seal on the clip top is properly airtight — my chutney’s been sitting for three weeks with no mold and the lid clicks shut with a satisfying pop. Fits a full kilo of flour easily, though it’s a bit heavy to lift one-handed when full.
